Dear Parents and Friends, 

We are excited to announce CPAD is returning to Long Beach Dragon Boat Race/festival. Last year CPAD skipped the event was due to the conflict of schedule of 2013 Chinese Opera Fundraising which happened in the same month.  However, to carry on the Dragon Boat spirit is our late president Rachel’s wishes and do see great benefit to our children.

Practice and Race site: Mother’s Beach, Long Beach - 5839 E. Appian Way, Long Beach, CA 90803 
Date/Time: 6/21/14; 6/28/14; 7/12/14 and 7/19/14, 7:00 – 8:00 am           
                  (No practice on 7/5/14 in observing Independence Day) 
Race Date/Time:  7/26/2014, around 10:00-11:00 am

Special Announcement - No Class on Mother's Day

Dear Parents,

Please note, this Saturday, 5/10/14, CPAD will be observing Mother's Day.  All classes will be ceased, except individual Karaoke class and Rainbow dance practice are still on.

CPAD 星期六課程 (2014年4月)

Dear All,

好消息！本協會將為年幼童增設一些新課：繪畫班、社交遊戲班、音樂班。開班時間為2014年4月26日。  

目前暫定每月的第四個星期六上一次課。未來是否增加上課次數，將視需求而定。所有費用將由CPAD的捐款負擔。希望家長能積極配合協助課程的運轉。  

我們歡迎 8-13 歳的特殊兒童參與, 有興趣報名者, 請與李太聯絡, 電話: (626)321-5266, 或回覆此電郵告知您孩子的姓名, 年齡, 症狀, 及任何特別需要的照顧。

上課時間 8 - 13 歳 14 歳 以上
  1:00 pm - 1:45 pm     繪畫 - Linda 羅     繪畫 - Linda 羅  
  1:45 pm - 2:30 pm     (分組) 社交, 玩遊戲 - May Fu     手語唱歌 - 慈少  
  2:30 pm - 2:45 pm 休息   空手道 - Dr. Jang
  2:45 pm - 3:30 pm   (分組) 音樂,  樂器打擊 - 慈少     空手道 - Dr. Jang
  3:45 pm - 4:30 pm 下課   卡拉oke - Abel Lam

CPAD Alhambra Saturday Program

Dear All,

Happy Chinese New Year! Our Jan-June'14 class dates are: 1/11, 2/8, 3/8, 3/22, 4/12, 4/26, no class in May and the last class will be on 6/7/14. Please mark those dates on your calendar. 

On 2/08/14, this Saturday, we will have four classes:From 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Signing Song/(Tzu Shao)

There will be a lion dance performance by Tzu Chi Academic to celebrate Chinese New Year with our students.  

From 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm:      Social/Interact(May Fu)
From 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm:      Karate (Dr. Jang) 
From 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm:      Karaoke (Mr. Abel Lam)

All classes are sponsored by generous donors; they are free of charge, you are all welcome to join us.All classes will be held at the following location:
