Dear CPAD Parents:
The in-house produced music DVD by CPAD’s children choir was well received and prompted enthusiastic inquiries from CPAD parents, who wish to participate and learn the skills. In response to the demand, we plan to conduct a training class during this summer to cultivate those parents and/or volunteers, who are interested in learning the video production techniques. The participants are required to commit themselves throughout the entire training period, and become a mentor to CPAD kids in our next DVD project.o warrant the quality of our future classes, we hereby plan to recruit at least five trainees; this will fulfill our goal of 1 mentor to 3 students’ ratio this Fall. Subject: Summer Video Production Training Project
Target: CPAD Parents/Volunteers, both novice and trained are welcomed
Course Content: Shooting and editing video, inputting to PowerPoint, and burn DVD
Schedule: Four Saturdays - 7/21, 8/4, 8/18, and 9/8, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Requirement: Participants must bring your own laptop. Please honor the instructor by showing up on time. After you’ve completed training, you are expected to be a mentor to CPAD kids only one Saturday afternoon every month for six months.
