CPAD Orange County Chapter invites CPAD Members to

“Outdoor Hawaiian Luau Party”

Date:  September 17, 2011, 4 pm to 7 pm

There will be music, games, activities and contests for everyone to enjoy and participate. We ask each family to bring their favorite dish to share as it will be a potluck. Hawaiian attire is encouraged for many photo opportunities as well as for various activities and contests.

Proudly Present 

 2011 "Environment Awareness" Children's Painting Competition

The Special Kids Art Painting Contest “Environmental Awareness” is hosted by Kiwanis Club of Monterey Park and CPAD.  We encourages parents to have your special needs child to participate in this special award activity. 

The deadline for submitting the entries is August 31, 2011 to CPAD Alhambra Office or OC Chapter.  If you can not deliver your child's art project, you can mail the art project to CPAD, P.O. Box 2884, San Gabriel, CA 91778-2884.

All entries must be on the “Environmental Awareness” theme. 5 winners will be recognized and presented with special awards in Kiwanis annual installation at Capital Seafood restaurant in Monterey Park on 9/30/2011.

2011 CPAD San Diego SeaWorld & Balboa Park 2-Day Happy Trip

On August 27-28, 2011 (Saturday to Sunday), CPAD will hold its “Annual Field Trip - 2 days Happy Trip to San Diego SeaWorld & Balboa Park.”  Our first day trip will tour San Diego SeaWorld, watch penguins, sea lions, dolphins and other marine animals' incredible exciting performances, and also watch fireworks at night.

Our next day's trip will tour Balboa Park. Balboa park has fifteen museums, various gardens, arts.... etc.  It is a place that offers something historical, horticultural, educational and recreational for every one!
