CPAD Alhambra Headquarter:
This year the annual IDEA Leadership Conference Reception (former OSEP Leadership Conference) on the Capital Hill was scheduled on the 2nd evening of the Leadership conference. CPRC and Representatives to attend and meet at the Reception.

CPAD Alhambra Headquarter - CPAD Youth Singing Group at Teacher Abel's Graduation Recital
5/19/2012 – “Sing to the Lord” Abel’s graduation Recital for Master of Art in Choral Conducting of Church Music. CPAD’s Youth Singing Group was part of the performers. With their newly made “My Karaoke DVD” show as the background, they sing “Today”, “Yesterday” and “Auld Lang Syne” in front of the audience. All the audience were deeply touched by their songs in spite of their special needs. .....

Leadership Training - “Making Your Voice Heard”
Ms. Fran Goldfarb, Director of Family Resource of USC UCEDD CHLA is providing CPAD parents a special “Leadership Training – Making Your Voice Heard”. Training will cover: Brief history of services public for people with disabilities; what is advocacy? why advocate? And, ways to get involved; testimony; testimony tips; letter writing; and others.
